The leaves on my rose bush are starting to turn black in the middle and then spreads out to the edges, and some leaves are turning yellow.

This is probably a disease called black spot which commonly affects roses during hot and humid weather conditions. If your roses are very dense, you might want to consider thinning them to improve air circulation. Spray with Bayer Advanced 3-in-1 Insect, Disease, & Mite Control according to the label directions or apply Bonide Rose Rx Systemic Drench to the base of the plants according to the label directions. Either of these products will protect your roses from insect pests and diseases like black spot.
