Peach tree

Post by CarolN » Thu Sep 14, 2017 6:32 pm

I am in Dutchess County, NY. I have a peach tree in the ground for three years. This year, even though I thinned them, I had a lot of fruit. So much so, the branches bowed down. Now, after harvest, the branches are still bowed. I am afraid with snow cover, they will break. Can I cut the bowed branches at the point they bow now?

Thanks,
Carol
