Planting fruit trees ?

It's now December 1st. Is it too late to plant fruit trees in central Virginia ? Thanks.

Sorry to take so long to answer your question. It may still be okay to plant as long as the soil isn't frozen and the weather doesn't turn too cold. Be sure to prepare a good planting hole with compost. Water the trees well after planting and mulch with about 4" of good quality mulch.
