Hi there. I am thinking of planting two brandywine viburnums into my landscaping. But, I don't know if it's ok to plant them in the middle of summer? The company I'm ordering them from is going to be delivered in 4" pots. Is it too late in the year?

September is a great time of the year to plant trees, shrubs, and perennials. Be sure to follow any planting instructions that come with your plants and keep them well watered until they become established with a good root system. A 4" pot will be pretty small so you may need to protect them over their first winter. This should be noted in the planting instructions.
