Fertilizing Blueberries
When is the best time to fertilize blueberries in Mathews, Va.? What do you recommend using and how much?

We recommend fertilizing blueberries with a good organic fertilizer (for acid loving plants) such as Espoma Holly-tone and Cottonseed Meal in the spring and again in the fall. You can do a spring feeding now. Blueberries require acidic soil to perform the best so it might be a good idea to check the pH of the soil in your patch.
