How do I get rid of mint?

I have an area of approx 10-12 sq ft that is overgrown with mint. I cannot get rid of it. I've pulled it all up at least 3 times (after the first time, covered area with rocks), have treated it with Round-up regular weed killer, and the latest attempt was with Round-up brush/poison ivy killer. I swear, the last treatment seems more like fertilizer.

I am at my wits end, and to the point that I don't care if anything grows in this area ever again - its on one side of my porch and surrounding my heat pump. I hate the smell, the look, everything about mint.

What can I do to get rid of it?? I've heard you just have to dig it up, but that seems close to impossible since the area is now covered with a couple inches of small rocks and around the heat pump.

My husband loves Andre Viette-listens to WSVA like a fanatic-and just knows that Andre can tell me what to do. =)

Thank you!

Andre recommends that you first shear the mint back, then apply Bonide KleenUp or Roundup concentrate at the strongest rate on the label. Be sure to add a spreader sticker and also add 3 squirts of Ivory detergent (or another liquid dish detergent) per gallon of mix. You will probably need to spray more than once. Spray 3 times, six weeks apart. Good luck!
