Leonard Floyd Color Rush Jersey

LAKE FOREST Richard Dent Color Rush Jersey , Ill. (AP) — The way Chicago Bears tight end Trey Burton figured it, no one wants to stop when he’s having fun.Burton looked ahead to this week’s bye for the Bears following a 48-10 victory over Tampa Bay and saw a potential trap for a team with momentum, although coach Matt Nagy anticipates otherwise.“It is the worst possible time to have a bye week,” said Burton, who won a Super Bowl last season with the Eagles. “Two years ago in Philly, we were 3-1 going into the bye, beating teams up, and lost seven out of nine off the bye week.“We have a lot of veteran guys who understand the importance of starting fast when we come back. I wish we didn’t have a bye week right now.”The Bears play again Oct. 14 at Miami, but Nagy is giving his team off the full bye week instead of holding a practice or two, as had been the procedure in Chicago in the past.Nagy on Monday said the decision has nothing to do with Sunday’s easy victory.“This is what we were going to do from the start,” Nagy said. “It’s something that I’ve taken with me from what we’ve done in the past in Philadelphia and in Kansas City.”Nagy coached under Andy Reid with both the Eagles and Chiefs. Reid has a 16-3 record after bye weeks in the regular season.“Coach Reid has had a hell of a record coming after bye weeks,” Nagy said. “It doesn’t mean that you win every time coming off of the bye, but there is a method to the madness. And I think the biggest thing with this is that it’s OK, you want to give your coaches and your players a breather and you have enough trust in them to understand that they’re professionals.”The Bears have injury issues to address and a break could work wonders. They lost backup linebacker Sam Acho for the season on Sunday with a torn pectoral muscle. Cornerbacks Prince Amukamara and Marcus Cooper are recovering from hamstring injuries. There’s also the possibility they could lose defensive end Akiem Hicks to a suspension for bumping an official and being ejected against Tampa Bay.Little else is trending downward after Mitchell Trubisky turned in a passing effort Sunday unequaled by anyone with the franchise since Johnny Lujack threw for six touchdown passes against the Chicago Cardinals in 1949.A week ago Nagy hinted he might scale back parts of the offense to make it easier on Trubisky, who struggled the first three games. But Trubisky threw for six TDs, 354 yards and had a passer rating of 154.6.Nagy said he actually did little to change the attack beyond going more downfield and “having fun.”“We didn’t lessen it, I can tell you that,” Nagy said. “For where we’re at right now in this offense Dan Hampton Jersey , we feel like we found a good balance for him.”Maybe it was the sleeve.Trubisky wore a sleeve covering his elbow and a good portion of his right arm, which was new. It even surprised Nagy.“I saw that, too,” Nagy said. “He never told me. But he’ll probably be wearing it in Miami.”One big change in the offense was getting Tarik Cohen more involvedin the passing game. The second-year running back had a career-best 121 yards receiving on seven catches with a touchdown.Cohen often is compared to Kansas City’s Tyreek Hill.“They’re different players,” Nagy said. “Tyreek is exclusively in Kansas City a wide receiver,” Nagy said. “There were times, and there are times, when coach Reid will put him in the backfield and run the ball.“The one difference with Cohen is that he can do both. He is a threat to run the ball between the tackles when he’s in the backfield. But if you move him out and put him in the slot at wide receiver, he’s shown to do that as well.”With a week to ponder their first 3-1 start since 2013, Nagy fully anticipates players returning from rest at a high level, although he understood why Burton had concerns about the break.“It’s similar to what you see sometimes in the playoffs when a team gets on a roll and things are going well, and then all of a sudden now they have a bye, and they get that bye and they come back the following week in the playoffs and then they’re just not the same,” Nagy said. The Bears have been practicing since July 19 because they had to play in the Hall of Fame game.So Nagy figures the break is exactly what they need.“Me personally, I’m OK with where this fits. We’ve prepared for it,” he said. CHICAGO (AP)The Green Bay Packers finally found a way to win without Aaron Rodgers. All they had to do was show up at Soldier Field. Brett Hundley threw for 212 yards and a touchdown, Nick Perry had three sacks and the Packers beat the Chicago Bears 23-16 on Sunday to snap a three-game losing streak. Hundley, starting his third game for an injured Aaron Rodgers https://www.thebearsfanshop.com/Brian-Urlacher-Jersey , threw a 17-yard touchdown to Davante Adams to make it 23-13 with 5:29 to play, and the Packers (5-4) hung on to beat the Bears (3-6) for the eighth time in nine games.Article continues below ... ”It feels amazing,” Hundley said. ”It’s truly amazing, especially a rivalry game. There was a lot going into this game. I just thank the team. Not only the offense, the offensive line, receivers, running backs – but the defense played their butts off, too.” Hundley completed 18 of 25 passes – even though his hamstring tightened during the game – to help the Packers win their eighth straight at Soldier Field counting the playoffs. He also became the first Green Bay starting quarterback other than Brett Favre or Rodgers to win against the Bears since Don Majkowski on Dec. 17, 1989. ”Today, he had more opportunities,” coach Mike McCarthy said. ”The two prior games, the sample size wasn’t the size it was today.” Though he got sacked five times, Chicago’s Mitchell Trubisky threw for a career-high 297 yards. The No. 2 overall draft pick hit Josh Bellamy for a 46-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter, but the Bears dropped their second in a row after winning back-to-back games. ”I thought statistically and poise-wise, in handling situations, I thought his play was probably the best to date,” coach John Fox said. ”Was it perfect? No. It seldom is. But I was impressed with the young guy.” The win was Green Bay’s first since a narrow victory at Dallas on Oct. 8. A week later, Rodgers got driven to the turf by the Vikings’ Anthony Barr in a loss at Minnesota week and the Packers haven’t been the same since. Ty Montgomery ran for a 37-yard touchdown in the second quarter Leonard Floyd Color Rush Jersey , but sat out the second half because of a rib injury. That left the Packers without their top two running backs after Aaron Jones hurt his knee in the first quarter. Green Bay shut down the Bears’ run game, holding Chicago to 55 yards rushing. Jordan Howard ran for 54 on 15 attempts. The Bears had a replay challenge backfire in a big way as they were threatening to score in the second quarter. And the offense stalled after Mason Crosby missed a 35-yard field with just over a minute left, giving Chicago one final chance. THE CHALLENGE The Packers led 10-3 in the second quarter after Montgomery went untouched through the line for his big TD run. The Bears were then driving deep in Green Bay territory when their replay challenge near the goal line backfired in a huge way. Benny Cunningham was ruled out at the 2 after turning a short pass into a 23-yard gain. The Bears challenged the spot, with Fox thinking at the time that it was a touchdown. Worst-case scenario: He figured they would have first-and-goal. He did not envision this. Replay officials ruled Cunningham didn’t have control when he hit the pylon, and with the ball landing out of bounds, Green Bay took over at the 20. The Bears didn’t lose a timeout, since the call was overturned, though that’s a loss they would have gladly taken. Fox screamed at line judge Bart Longson after the ruling and the crowd continued to boo as the Packers took possession. But Cunningham said the call was correct. ”When I watched the review, I felt like they made the right call,” he said. ”Just a bad play on my part. The refs got it right.” COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN McCarthy blamed poor communication by himself for the Packers wasting a timeout at the end of the first quarter. Green Bay had a fourth down at its own 29. Hundley called time with 5 seconds left even though he could have just let the game clock expire. ”I didn’t make it clear what we trying to get done there,” McCarthy said. INJURIES Packers: Hundley didn’t sound too concerned about his hamstring, saying, ”You figure it out and you keep playing.” … McCarthy had no update on Montgomery and Jones. … S Morgan Burnett sat out with a groin injury. Bears: The Bears held out RG Kyle Long (finger). With Long out, Cody Whitehair started at right guard and Hroniss Grasu at center. … LB Danny Trevathan (calf) and TE Dion Sims (illness) were inactive. UP NEXT Packers: Host the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 19. Bears: Host Detroit Lions on Nov. 19. —
