Why are fruits not cheaper in California?

Post by MichaelSmith » Mon May 21, 2018 8:47 am

Hello,

I was in the Bay Area ( (Dublin)last week and I was shocked about the food prices especially milk and eggs.
Banana: 89 cents a pound and 29 cents in Dallas
Apple: $2.99 a pound and not even Fuji and $1.39 in Dallas.
Almost everything is double. I thought fruits are cheaper in CA?

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
