Arborist confirmed beetle, but states condition mostly due to a fungus. Recommended injecting for beetle but holding off on fungicide and instead injecting fertilizer in the hopes that the tree will be strong enough in the Spring to fight the fungus on its own. Thanks for the quidance. The leaves on the ground are NOT showing signs of being eaten by the bug, so it does not appear to be a heavy infestation. I did notice that one particular 3" diameter branch and it's descendants all have very yellow leaves as apposed to the lighter green of the rest of the ...
